Re: Can anyone have intercourse anymore?

None of it really feels that great. Orgasms feel muted but not as much as I would have thought. Unless I just don't remember what normal orgasms feel like which is definitely a possibility.

Re: Can anyone have intercourse anymore?

I can but only from certain positions. Girl on top is almost impossible because I stay semi-soft the whole time. Oral is by far the easiest for me.

Re: What to do to prevent more people from ruining their lives as we did?

My GP still thinks I'm insane. You know why? Because he's never had even a single person mention PSSD to him before despite him giving SSRIs to hundreds of patients. That's either because it's incredibly rare or people aren't saying anything/don't even realize what's going on because they are fuckin...

Re: Did SSRIs work for you?

Wow, looks like I had a much more positive reaction to them than most everyone here. For me, they really changed my life for the better. I still regret taking them though. My sexuality was very important to me.

Re: hello is this pssd

Hello and Welcome!

Yes, it is a possibility. If you are young and healthy, without crippling depression, then you should be able to achieve an erection and have a strong libido. You should still give it more time though. If you're libido is slowly getting better, that's a good sign.

Yeah, JayR. Good point. Getting human studies that pertain to our cause is an issue.

Re: Progesterone

Miguel, I agree with you. With the chance of getting PSSD being so low, it's hard to imagine something worsening the exact mechanisms that ultimately cause PSSD. I am seeing a second endo soon too. I doubt he will know of PSSD or even be willing to acknowledge it, but if I could find one that was be...

Re: Progesterone

I would love to talk to the guy in that article, Dr.Goldstein out in San Diego. There's gotta be some way we can draw some more professionals to the board. Endocrinologists, researchers, doctors, ect.

Re: Some Questions About PSSD

1. I have no idea how common it is. People may not be reporting for many reasons: maybe it just went away, maybe we are a smaller group than we thought, maybe most people just lurk forever, a lot of people hate talking to their doctor about their penis, and lastly, some people probably don't make th...
