Ive done ketamine a handful of times, dont remember any benefits towards PSSD
Re: Anyone with PSSD tried Ketamine?
Did you have anhedonia or depression and did it go away with it?
Re: Anyone with PSSD tried Ketamine?
I tried it after I already I had PSSD.
I never tried it for depression.
Ive read that new studies are being done with K for depression though.

Re: Anyone with PSSD tried Ketamine?
I had a series of 3 Ketamine infusions performed by a doctor. I have SSRI-induced depression, anhedonia, and PSSD. The ketamine infusions did not work for me and were very expensive, although there is a good amount of research that ketamine infusions can help treatment-resistant depression.

Re: Anyone with PSSD tried Ketamine?
Yes, I've used ketamine recreationally many times. It might help with depression or emotional numbing but it doesn't make any difference as far as PSSD goes.

If you ask me, emotional numbing is one of the core symptoms of PSSD.lost_soul wrote:Yes, I've used ketamine recreationally many times. It might help with depression or emotional numbing but it doesn't make any difference as far as PSSD goes.
Re: Anyone with PSSD tried Ketamine?
You're right, my bad. In my case my emotions are actually much stronger than they were before starting SSRIs, but my libido is completely shot so I suppose that's one emotion I'll never get back. It seems that every case of PSSD is different though. That scares me, because there probably won't ever be a single cure.DoIt wrote:If you ask me, emotional numbing is one of the core symptoms of PSSD.lost_soul wrote:Yes, I've used ketamine recreationally many times. Re: Anyone with PSSD tried Ketamine?
Yeah, I had a series of ketamine infusions performed by a doc a year back. Didn't do anything for PSSD for me.
