You need to read his/her recovery message again. The last post before it was in April. Then the user says they noticed improvements in May.

I know it's tough not to be cynical and skeptical, but come on, are we going to question every good thing on this damn forum?

Wow! Thank you HopeFoeRecovery! What a beautiful news!! Very glad for you..

Can give us a little more detail about dopa mucuna and which exercise (aerobic/weights) have you done? And how much time have you had to wait until you see improvements? So you have stopped taking mucuna zin and fish oil but your recovery is stable, right?

Thanks for your Story, it can be a corner stone for thousands of people. Please let us know more about.

I'm usually kinds of skeptical and pissed when I'm unsure if someone is cured too, but there HAS to be people who recover! Plus, this guy is well spoken and isn't claiming some voodoo bullshit treatment cured him. That goes a long way.

Thanks for posting - really pleased for you!

You say you had windows of recovery for your year of pssd - were these natural or supplement induced? If naghral it suggests to me your pssd wasn't as severe as mine - I've had no natural windows or improvement for 8 years. Would love some more details about your windows if you get the chance.

Definitely need to try zinc, I've heard good stuff, and fish oil. What's dopa Mucana? Are you off cialis now?

(This is not a personal criticism - just proof of my overly paranoid and anxious mind - why do I always panic that anyone posting recoveries is a plant from pharmas?!)

It doesnt seem very unlikely in that case. I mean the guy has only posted here 3 times. He doesnt seem overly legit.

Not that recovery is not possible, but the specific case seems a bit "suspicious" to me as well.

Oh, and we should really look into dopa mucuna-just in case. I have seen nobody else trying that, and it seems promising. Unless is the same thing as mucuna pruriens, which would be dissapointing.
PSSD after 9 days on cipralex 10mg (escitalopram), July 2013.
Had sexual sides from the first dose. Developed full pssd after i stopped.
Slowly improved to 70% of normal within 3.5 years.
"Crashed" again on April 2017.
Severe pssd again.

If people think that their are shills from "Big Pharma" on this forum, you're a fucking loon. I try to be as nice as possible on here but seriously, that would be an INCREDIBLE level of paranoia to believe that anyone from the pharmaceutical industry gives half a shit about this forum. And if you do believe that, you ironically need psychiatric evaluation. I hate to break it to you.

Even if we figured out how to treat it and just remained this little community on the internet helping people with PSSD as long as SSRIs exist, it still wouldn't even put the teeniest tiniest dent in that industry. If we had lots of money, studies, and scientific proof that would allow for lawsuits, THEN they would be worried to some small extent.

I believe that people have the right to be skeptical about a guy who posted here only three times, is named "HopeForRecovery", and hasnt provided enough details of his story. Im not absolute about anything, but beign skeptical about this story is the best way to describe it. I still believe in recovey and really hope this is a true story.

And just to know, big pharma and merck shills are known to post from time to time in the propecia forums for a long time now. These users used to claim on their first post that they recovered from pfs, and guess what, a lot of people were suspecting big pharma business behind it. I dont think all these people need psychiatric evaluation.

And these forums are far more intimidating for the industry than you might think. Believe me. Only consider the number of new members we have in the intoduction posts every week.

And think about the efforts some people have made to hide pssd from the public (wikipedia article etc).

Well, I guess anything is possible. I would almost be impressed if they were already shilling on PSSD before we even figured anything out about it. Then again, we might be closing in with the whole progesterone thing.
