Anyone tried PT-141/Bremelanotide?
Hello! I searched this in the forum, but not many people replied, so I figured I'd ask now that it's been out for a while. Has anyone been able to try PT-141? While most of my recovery is "good enough" compared to where it was before, I still find that I deal with clitoral atrophy (lack of...

Re: Are there recovery stories after several years?
It took me many years. 4 years after stopping ADs I still had bad symptoms, but in the last 3 years I have recovered quite a bit. So 7-8 years altogether, I guess? But it took me 4 years in before I started looking for resources and I started doing better things for my life. I will say, I never real...

Re: Improvements from Bupropion
Oh! There is a new thread! I wanted to drop by again to see if there were any new developments in treating PSSD and wanted to add to Numby's experience that I also improved greatly with Wellbutrin. I started slowly reinstating 1/4th of my previously prescribed dose for about two months or so? I bega...

Re: Wellbutrin
Hello! I have finally been able to come back, after a while of being away, and my benefits stuck. Did it work for anyone else? (Sorry if necroing is not proper here)

Re: Took Prozac Twice, Recovered Once (So far!)
Thanks so much. You're right - it is nonsense, but it's difficult not to feel remorse and self-blame. My depression has improved a lot, and I wish I had made some life changes prior to trying antidepressants, but I was in a dark place, and I was hopeful that it would change my life for the better. ...

Re: Took Prozac Twice, Recovered Once (So far!)
I just want to first say that you did NOT make a mistake putting your mental health first. You did was you've been taught to do and what anyone would do in the same situation. You didn't "err badly". Don't even get that nonsense in your head. I had a similar experience, where the first tim...

Re: Wellbutrin
@RainboweGirl It’s good to read that Wellbutrin has had such a positive effect on you. For me, the improvements concerning sensitivity of the clitoris were huge, too. I could hardly believe how extremely numb I had been for years because I had simply forgotten how it was before fluoxetine. There ar...

Re: Wellbutrin
Amazing news RainebowGirl. Are you happy with 70% or do you feel temped to take more to get closer to 100%? Was there anything else at all you tried at the same/similar time to wellbutrin or was that the only thing? I'm still trying to find the type of wellbutrin you mentioned you took but having n...

Re: Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms)
I'm terrified of a heroic dose. I've read things that say people who have a family history of psychosis or schizophrenia shouldn't take it at all. But if it is neuroregenerative, shouldn't it help those conditions?

Re: Wellbutrin
Hello, everyone. I haven't been around much, but I wanted to give a small update. I'd say my symptoms improved to around 65-70% overall! So not too much different from before. I'm surprised to have maintained these improvements for over a month and a half since they began. I haven't taken wellbutrin...
