Re: Spyros 100% cured by Estrogen + TRT
"Acute estradiol exposure in rodents increases 5HTT mRNA and protein levels (McQueen, Wilson, Sumner, & Fink, 1999; Sumner et al., 1999; Sumner et al., 2007) whereas chronic estradiol administration decreases 5HTT mRNA levels in monkeys." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC32...

Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert
Thanks I will to see in the study. I think this is the key honestly I wish I could get some. I think the effects are permanent in the sense that they upregulate the downregulated SERT in the raphe nuclei. SO theoretically you can take a round of it and upregulates your SERT and keep it upregulated ...

Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert
How can we aquire Desoxo-narchinol A and what would be the optimal dosage to restore SERT function ? I don't have access to the full study. Maybe someone on this forum can access the full study for us. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0378874120334899?via%3Dihub I think that’s...

Don't eat ginger it's a 5ht1a agonist it will desensitize your serotonin receptors which may cause you to crash

Re: Hypertonic Sodium Salts/Sodium Bicarb as a treatment for genital numbness
I started drinking carbonated water and I noticed an increase sensation in my genitals but after a few days it seems to have worn off followed by increased cognitive symptoms. There seems to be some support for your findings "Sertraline may inhibit 5-HTT by inhibiting Na+ channels, increasing t...

Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert
desoxo-narchinol A extracted from Nardostachys jatamansi DC upregulates sert and reverses the sert inhibition of SSRIs. "Among which, kanshone C of aristolane-type sesquiterpenoid inhibited SERT most strongly, while desoxo-nachinol A of nardosinane-type sesquiterpenoid instead enhanced SERT pot...

Re: Severe PSSD Recovery with Ketogenic Diet and Low-Dose Lithium
Hello all, it’s been a while since I’ve given an update on my situation and I figured I would check back in. In the past few years I’ve been through some very low lows after a crash from memantine. After my crash, I believed that there was truly no hope left for me and that I was better off dead. A...

Re: Final theory of PSSD etiology. Get in here!
I do not think that taking reboxetine is the way to go. There are two ways of how desensitization works. There is heterologous desensitization where ligand no longer exert cellular response in the receptor. After this happens receptor becomes internalized. This is what i think is happening in PSSD....
