Re: Potential cure for PFS (HCG)
There are countless posts on HCG protocols on Propeciahelp going back to 2006. If HCG was a cure for PFS, we would all be gone living our lives and leaving PFS behind us by now. Unfortunately, it is not the cure.

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
Why do you think pfs situation is not irreversible? I saw research, more than 4000 genes were changed. I understand your optimism, but still. I said I don't believe that it is irreversible in principle . Whether it is reversible in practice is up in the air. But I don't think it is reasonable to lo...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
Do you think that same could be said about PSSD patients or does it only apply to PFS?? Unfortunately, there is very little if any clinical research into PSSD. I cannot highlight enough how important it is to get actual research in patient tissue done by expert scientists in real labs. PFS or PSSD ...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
Honestly propeciahelp mods did more damage to the community than they helped. When people believe this stupid AR and epigenetic change theory, which is totally absurd, people tend to get stuck in a thought loop that there is no way out. Thats how suicides happen. Just look at poor anhedonicape and ...

Re: Anyone taking propecia post PSSD?
Because as far as I know the mechanism is completely different. That's not necessarily true. Several studies have shown that SSRIs have endocrine disruptive and particularly anti-androgenic effects (see here: https://www.propeciahelp.com/pfs-manifestation-of-a-post-androgen-deprivation-syndrome-fol...

New PFS awareness campaign and research proposal
Dear PSSD community, some of you may have seen this already on Propeciahelp or through the social media channels of PFS Network, we have launched new content to create awareness for PFS and have also launched a fundraiser for a new study. The social media content includes a series of podcasts with P...

Re: targeting drug similarities
SSRIs, Finasteride, Accutane (Isotretinoin) and also certain supplements like Saw Palmetto all share anti-androgenic properties. That's likely why we see the same stories coming from all these patient groups. At Propeciahelp, we have collected hundreds of questionnaires from all these groups, and th...

Re: LOOKING TO SPREAD AWARENESS
Instead of awarness we should focus on founding research  The two are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they are complementary. More awareness means more people interested in the condition, more people willing to donate and more people willing to participate in research, which yields more rese...

Re: Raising Money to Cure PSSD
Thank you for sharing. Do you know other research groups that are currently researching PFS or PSSD so we can organize a fundraising? More groups of research scientists is always a plus. We are talking a few people with some excellent publications (i.e. in top journals like Nature and Cell) whose e...

Re: Raising Money to Cure PSSD
Donating to our PSSD GOFUNDME PAGE is a nice start. We already donated over $30,000 Melcangi Research Group in Milan Italy within an 8 month period. The money helped with their latest research paper published a few weeks ago. I constantly promote the GoFundMe on Twitter to reach a wider audience. Y...
