Is Low Dose Naltrexone safe for us?
Hello, I've been doing better as far as PSSD goes for the past couple of years now. However I have other health issues going on, autoimmune and pain related, and my doctor has prescribed low dose naltrexone. I'm just so scared to take it out of fear that it could retrigger my PSSD. I see in LDN foru...

Sleep Aid Suggestions
What sleep aids are best for us and come with the least risks of worsening or triggering PSSD? I'm doing fairly well with my PSSD right now, it's manageable, but my sleep is terrible, and I'm worried about taking something that affects me sexually.

Re: Doing better now :) a success story, female
I think I did have a degree of anhedonia, especially in the beginning. I remember feeling like I couldn't get goosebumps listening to good music or emotional watching movies. That's also improved a lot. I didn't have body numbness. I would have occasional windows of improvement about six months out,...

Doing better now :) a success story, female
Hi everyone, It just occurred to me tonight that I consider myself a PSSD success story at this point. I'm female. I took Prozac in 2019; interestingly enough, it was my second time having taken it (I was 13 the first time and experienced no longterm effects that round) – the genital anesthesia was ...

Diagnosed with SIBO and other updates
Hi everyone, So, I was diagnosed with SIBO last week, which isn't super surprising given I have major digestive issues. Interestingly enough, I developed a UTI a couple weeks ago which required a broad spectrum antibiotic, which has made both my PSSD symptoms and SIBO symptoms worse. Now I have to t...

Re: Xyzal caused a crash
When histamine levels are downregulated, would this cause a decrease in allergy symptoms though? I mean, I guess, compared to how my allergies were pre-Prozac, it is better overall (it was pretty awful before, not sure if it's coincidental or not), but I do still deal with stuffy nose, itchy ears, e...

Re: Xyzal caused a crash
This is very interesting, thank you. Why, though, would the effects be lingering after stopping Xyzal? My allergies got worse again, so doesn't that mean my histamine has increased again?

Xyzal caused a crash
Has anyone had a bad experience with the antihistamine Xyzal or any antihistamine? I took it for allergies, and I've been in a crash ever since which is so discouraging because I was doing very well prior to it. I never even thought about the fact that an antihistamine could have any effect on PSSD....

Quercetin - is it safe?
Is Quercetin safe to take for us or has it been known to cause setbacks? My allergies are terrible this year. I tried Xyzal, and it worsened the genital anesthesia symptoms, which is so frustrating.

Has anyone recovered from the genital anesthesia?
So, I'm a year and 10 months out from Prozac. My libido has returned to normal pretty much. I can orgasm, and it's satisfying, though not to what it used to be most days and takes longer/more pressure. But the genital anesthesia, particularly in my clitoris, still remains consistently numb. For thos...
