Re: Buspirone + Prozac
Because you are still mixing/alternating it, it's hard to apply directly to the function or right use of Buspar alone.

Re: This might be the key! Androgen function in the spotlight.
I don't say testosterone is not an issue, but I would actually say it is possibly in many cases rather a symptom than an important cause. Firstly, I have no or only minor issues with libido, in other words I can get horny. But more centrally: if testosterone were the issue, or some other hormonal im...

Re: Active DNA Demethylation in Post-Mitotic Neurons: A Reason for Optimism (PSSD TREATMENT?)
I think one can partly interpret this as saying that demethylation isn't necessarily such a big deal, if one uses DNMT1 and DNMT3 inhibitors, among other things. Compulsive negativity in this forum, assumed or "cherry-picked" from a minority of studies, notwithstanding. HDAC inhibitors, li...

Re: Cure attempt #2 (in-progress / initial findings)
5HT1a is not a new topic, so one would not be limited to that. And other substances are not reported to have quite so "dysphoric" or other negative effects. Given the diverse nature of NMDA-antagonists, it might still be good to say which ones are the "right" ones. For example, Z...

Re: Cure attempt #2 (in-progress / initial findings)
Like the promise of permanence of this. My question is: why this strong focus on DXM? NMDA-antagonism is a fairly prevalent feature of various supplements, albeit often in different ways or at different sites. However could one also maybe take something else, like Magnesium-L-Threonate or Lithium? I...

Re: Fluoxetine/Risperidone/olanzipine pssd
Since you still take something, it greatly complicates things. There is probably something you could try, but I don't know what, it's a very special problem to try to combine medication with anything to attenuate side-effects... Vitamins are probably recommended or at least tolerated for you anyway,...

Re: Inositol Powder
I know what you're talking, albeit only from short-term effects. I would take anything that increases dopamine (some Shilajit is not bad), also Omega 3 oil with high content of DHA and EPA (just stronger), and anything else that supports basic brain health and balance like CDP Choline/Citicoline and...

Re: Berberine
Like St. John's Wort, Berberine tends to directly "unlock" sensitivity to a large degree for me. This seems to indicate that postsynaptic 5-HT1a antagonism is good for me short-term, but probably not longterm. (Pre-synaptic 5-HT1a agonism is not special but usually beneficial.) Due to Berb...

Re: Gotu Kola (Centella Asiatica) and Bacopa on GluR1, 2 and NR2A, B
Regarding dosage: it may not be limited to a low dosage, but standardized extract may work better over time (what I had tried first). Adverse reactions may come from immediate effect compared to waiting a bit. Or purity may make extract better. (Powder still works and is how it's mostly sold and eve...
Re: Abilify
Yes, I've had Abilify and it had a negative effect while taking it, but it didn't cause my side-effects, but Risperidone or a combination of Risperidone and Fluoxetine did. (I got changed to Abilify because of obvious side-effects.) Maybe Abilify contributed to the permanence of side-effects, for be...
