Re: Have you sued the manufacturer?
There is no way to prove Pssd or to make a clear comparison about how we were before, so I think this would be pretty hard. Maybe one day if we learn how to physically ‘show’ pssd eg brain scans, certain hormone levels etc, but realistically I think our efforts are better concentrated elsewhere. I’...

Re: Treatments for Genital Anesthesia specifically ?
What do you think is more likely to be caused by pelvic floor dysfunction or potential nerve damage (compared to any other reasons), numb glans or numb shaft? The difference is probably not so clear-cut in this case, but it seems worth thinking about in general what might affect different areas. If...

Re: drz47p Intro & Story
Hey drz, I second arahant's comment that you would probably greatly benefit from a dopamine booster like buspirone or bupropion. Viagra can probably also help with your erections (if you aren't already taking it), but if you can't afford it or worried about using it, l-citrulline should also give yo...

Re: Treatments for Genital Anesthesia specifically ?
I believe its caused by pelivc floor dysfunction - if you look at he CPPS forums they also have numb genitals, no libido, ED, Soft glans, issues with urinating, hard flaccid, etc So you can see they are similar symptoms due to the nerves being compressed - I have had better orgasms and better sensa...

Hypertonic Sodium Salts/Sodium Bicarb as a treatment for genital numbness
Hi All, I was poking around google scholar today and found something that hasn't really been discussed on here before. Many of us believe that the somatic genital numbness PSSD sufferers experience is caused by a blocking/dysregulation of some of the sodium gated ion channels that persists after the...

Re: Treatments for Genital Anesthesia specifically ?
I guess cocaine, bupropion and ginkgo biloba have something in common. I made a separate post about this a few days ago, but for what its worth, I started a trial of bupropion (150mg XL/per day) this past Sunday. For a bit of context, my genital numbness was already improving sporadically for the p...

The Bupropion Dilemma - Input is appreciated
Hi guys, I've been on this forum for a few months now, so I will spare you a long intro and point you to my post history. Although my sexual functioning has somewhat improved in the past five months (which I partially credit to L-Citrulline) these improvements has not been very consistent. In partic...

Re: testicular pain while lying down
Ya I second mcmare here: noticeable, consistent testicular pain is potentially an indicator of something serious and you should definitely get it checked out! It might be a neurological problem caused by the SSRI's, but frankly I think that's quite a reach since i've never read of anyone else on thi...

4 month L-Citrulline trial results
Hi Guys, Just thought I'd officially report the results of my 4 month L-Citrulline regiment ( Jan - April ; 3g/day in capsule form). I would say the results are generally quite positive, though I'm not sure just yet whether this is due to L-Citrulline actually partially fixing the underlying patholo...

Wellbutrin and 5HTA1
Hi guys, Browsing the forums, it seems that the most popular theory regarding PSSD is that, in certain cases, use of SNRI's/SSRI's causes desensitization of the 5HTA1 receptors that persists even after the drug is discontinued. However, I'm having a little bit of trouble squaring this hypothesis wit...
