Lithium orotate + DHEA
I've been tempted to try lithium for a while after reading success storys about it here and on reddit. I started with 2,5 mg lithium orotate (elemental) and 15 mg oral DHEA. Initial positive effects at dosage increases of lithium but faded quicklly. But after about 2 weeks on 5 mg lithium + DHEA and...

Re: How to find a psychiatrist to prescribe lithium carbonate
If your're using carbonate you need regular blood samples to see your blood levels. Can really destroy your kidneys and thyroid. Find a doctor or use lithium orotate instead.

Romantic feelings
I guess this maybe only aplies to people with severe symptoms. But have anyone been able to fall i love since getting PSSD? I've had quite severe emotional blunting and mild to moderate anhedonia for the last 8-10 years or so. Recently though I actually fell in love with a girl. Well, it's more like...

Re: 3 Schizandra Success Stories
Be careful. It's a very strong CYP3A4 inhibitor so it interacts with most drugs. Serious interactions.
Should be great though with BDNF-increasing stuff since it's one of the only compounds that significantly upregulates TrkB-receptors. Damn, I would try it if I could.

PSSD or psychological problems?
I have been convinced for a long time that my problems are caused by SSRI:s. But at the same time, I believe I’m suffering from either avoidant or schizoid personality disorder, with accompanying atypical depression. The symptoms all match with the negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Does anyone rec...

Re: Amphetamine discontinuation window
I’m thinking it has more to do with downregulation of some receptors controlling tonic dopamine transmission. But what the hell do I know. I think the gut is really important though. It hasen’t worked for me since the last time I wrote about it. Maybe longer breaks are required.

Re: What is the "window" and the "morning forest"
I think ”morning forest” is like afterglow. Likely something to do with heightening cortisol/phasic glutamate? Often happends after alcohol binges. If your main problems are anhedonia and emotional blunting, one easy thing to try is baclofen/phenibut. If 50-75 mg/around 2 grams respectevly gives you...

Re: Amphetamine discontinuation window
I should add that it only lasts a day, maybe two. Microdoses of asprin (about 10-60 mg) have given simular effects, when I think about it. Low-dose aspirin upregulates tyrosine hydroxylase and increases dopamine production. Maybe I should try that again. Though it raises my social anxiety alot.

Amphetamine discontinuation window
This has happend to me several times. After 3-4 days of therapeutic doses of dextroamphetamine and then stopping I get a PSSD window. I can sense smells better. My surroundings feels more real. I feel more fight or flight anxiety (which is better than social anhedonia). My attraction to women are re...

Re: If Not PSSD, Then What?
Creatine can cause/worsen 5HT1A presynaptic desensitization, giving you PSSD symptoms. But I don't know how often that happends. Lifting every day is not healthy at all, that's overtraining. And that's a way too high prolactin level. Optimal for a male would be around 80-150 mIU/L. You're levels can...
