Re: Mechanism behind masturbation crashes
My sexual symptoms were almost completely gone about 2 weeks ago, only insomnia remained. I decided to masturbate a little too much within a period of about 2 days. Basically, if I masturbate to the point that my semen volume gets low again, I crash. So I suffered a minor crash that I am still recov...

Crashing from masturbating
I've posted about this before and received minimal response so I thought I'd try again. My sexual symptoms were almost completely gone about 2 weeks ago, only insomnia remained. I decided to masturbate a little too much within a period of about 2 days. Basically, if I masturbate to the point that my...

Re: Nearly 100% recovered with time
So a little update, if I masturbate too much in a day, I regress and my symptoms get worse again. This kind of crashing has happened to me before and it is most likely temporary so I'm not too concerned. This also seems to be a unique aspect of my PSSD, because not many people suffer crashes from ej...

Re: Nearly 100% recovered with time
what makes you say you have recovered 90 percent Like I said, all of my initial symptoms are gone except for my insomnia and some residual sexual issues, but they seem to be getting better. Not sure if the insomnia is getting better, but the sexual side effects are almost completely gone. I'd say m...

Nearly 100% recovered with time
I have now recovered about 90% and continue to improve after having PSSD symptoms for 7 months. The only thing that cured me was time. Goes to show that this disorder is extremely varied amongst people in how it presents itself and in the possibility of recovery. The only symptom I really struggle w...

Mechanism behind masturbation crashes
I've crashed badly after ejaculating too often within a short period of time. I still haven't really recovered. I had experienced a quite sudden and significant recovery in all sexual symptoms a few months ago and masturbating cause me to crash. I am wondering what the theories explaining a crash fr...

Gut microbiota theory and the cure
https://www.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/q03uci/gut_microbiota_theory_how_i_finally_cured_my_pssd/ I truly believe that this is the actual mechanism behind PSSD. Everyone on this forum should get themselves tested for SIBO and any other gut issues. Everyone who responded to this Reddit post tested pos...

Re: What do you think about this recent gut theory?
It seems pretty legit to me. It actually looks like this could be the cause of PSSD. I'm definitely going to get tested for SIBO and other gut issues soon. If everyone on this forum gets a test for gut disorders and comes back positive, I think we can say with almost 100% certainty that we have disc...

Re: What is the "crash"?
I believe I suffered a crash from masturbating too much. I was experiencing a sudden period of substantial recovery and I masturbated too many times in one day and now I have regressed horribly. This was almost a month and a half ago.
