Re: Please read!

I have GAD with just a smidge of agoraphobia. So, I mostly have the panic attacks, insomnia, and horrifying inability to do simple everyday tasks, but I'm alright with it. It's better than not being able to feel things. At the moment, the anxiety is still just light. I'm able to grin and bare the th...

Re: MY CASE: GIRL IN ESCITALOPRAM

I clicked the link, but I think whatever was there was taken down. Which is pretty upsetting, BUT I'll continue and give my stats. ME: 34 y.r. old female STORY: EFFEXOR(37.5 mg 2x a day), Buspirone( 10 mg 3x a day) WHY DID I START? To combat hemipelgic migraines that it turns out I didn't really hav...

Re: Hormones and Menstrual Cycle

I'm 34, and I had an IUD that made my periods SUPER long and heavy that I got removed recently. They have slowly been getting lighter, but that has nothing to do with PSSD. my periods used to be three days long and very light. I'm kind of hoping they go back to that. I hadn't even thought about this...

Re: Please read!

Yeah, that actually sounds like me before PSSD. Lol! I'm starting to be more like that again though. That's actually how I found this forum. Through tons of senseless research. Get yourself a fidget ring, they're fun.

Re: Does anyone have children that take SSRIs?

Thank you I will remember to taper her down carefully. And, Scot thank you for the advice. I will look into all of those things. We tried some of that the first go round, but maybe now that she is older she will take to it better. I'm going to let her psychiatrist know that she will be going off the...

Does anyone have children that take SSRIs?

I was just wondering because my child takes Zoloft, and has been for about nine months. She has severe SAD and agoraphobia. She is nine years old, and we tried play therapy first for three months, but it did not help very much. She still cried every day at school, wanted to stay home, screamed in th...

Re: What is everyones worst symptom?

I find that my anxiety is slowly coming back, and I don't mind it. I actually missed feeling things. I was starting to become afraid of the person I was. I didn't feel anything really. I knew that somewhere inside of me I loved my family, and cared for people...I just didn't feel it. I like that my ...

Re: sex

I have sex, but not on a regular basis anymore. I've been married for 15 years, and we used to have sex 3-4 times a week. Now it is more like 1 time a week if that. I discussed my PSSD with my husband, and explained in detail what was going on with my body. I have lubrication, and blood flow to my v...

Hello, I'm Sunnie

I'm a 34 yr. old, happily married woman. I started taking Effexor because I was having ocular migraines, and I later suffered a stroke that everyone thought was a hemiplegic migraine at the time. My neurologist said the Effexor, in conjunction with Topamax , would be good in keeping the hemiplegic m...
