Re: Has spinal reflex been considered?
When I was in hospital with the onset of symptoms, mine were so severe they thought I had spinal injury, MS or GBS etc... But all my reflexes were totally normal, even though I had no control over much voluntary stuff from waist down, mainly bowl, bladder, penis. Oddly I was able to walk with some w...

Re: Unique opportunity from Winsantor
Thanks, was very interesting questionnaire and nearly all questions applied to me. Took me hour and a half to give details on each question as none of them were a straight forward yes or no. Both numbness and pain/hypersensitivity, anorgasmia and hyper-orgasms with PE, no semen, hyperspermia. You na...

Re: PAPSD (Post Anti-Psychotic Sexual Dysfunction) - Sonny OP
I haven' updated in some time. I got off the Rexulti nearly 18 months ago, while still tapering Moclobemide. I finally got off the Moclobemide late last year, so 9-10 months ago. My PSSD and other symptoms improved a lot and much of my PSSD was isolated to more mild waves, but the Moclobemide withdra...

Re: The reason PSSD is so rare
I agree with Titeuf. I too thought it was rare, but after leaving the research specifically on the matter alone, spending time on the surviving antidepressants community, and being open to my health issues as a result of psych meds to all people who ask what are you ill from? persistent side effects...

Re: Pain in the bones and getting worse day by day
Yeah I have this bone pain, can't say when it gets better. Mine started in the last few months but I had excruciating pain of many types on and off since 2021 when I first attempted to quit my first med (was on two meds) and yes, like nerve pain/burning is the most common pain I have, genital/anal a...

Re: I have finally recovered after 6 years!
Nice one! I believe everyone has a good chance how ever long it takes, as long as they stay away from more drugs and compounds that just aggravate and prolong the condition. As terrible as I am at the moment, nearly 3 years from the first attempts to taper, 13 months clean from the AP and 9 months c...

Re: Results of a new study on genital/peripheral nerve treatment of patients with PSSD, PFS and PAS
Not sure with the first two, but SSRI and psych drug related syndromes with includes PSSD are central with certainty except for outlier cases. I have been able to without a doubt rule out peripheral involvement, probably even the spinal cord in my case even though it's part of the CNS, all of my sym...

Re: Crashed bad on Lamictal
Recent research into visual snow syndrome, common with psych drug withdrawal. I have VSS very bad myself. They found with a complete PET scan screening of all the neurotransmitters across control, migraine and VSS people, in VSS specifically glutamate and serotonin pathways heavy in 2a receptors had...

Re: Are there safer antibiotics?
As long as you aren't allergic to this class, then the old fashioned penicillin class is perfectly safe. The newer types can/are be neuro-active and upset those recovering from withdrawal syndromes including PSSD. I had full general anesthetic oral surgery and I opted out of all the drugs except Pro...

Re: 90% improvement with lithium carbonate 450 mg
It is very rare to see any reports of someone improving with mood stabilizers. With so many stories of improvement with different random medications, sometimes I wonder if this really isn't a problem with depression that we worsened by using the wrong drug. That is what a lot of counselors and doct...
