If caffeine has a positive effect on you, I bet Wellbutrin would help you...Its helped me a lot (mostly with depression, a little with PSSD
) and I had a similar response to coffee.

Re: Ghost Intro
I can relate to your post GHOST and what you said about acceptance. I have also had PSSD for about 5-6 years and I come to the forum much less and I post much less. I am busy with life now, I have a family and a successful business. PSSD is on "the back burner" for me now. I don't think ab...

Re: How much of a role do you think nerves play?
I know it is hard to accept the idea that PSSD is caused in the body, not primarily the brain but in my case it is making more and more sense. I never believed this for the first few years. IMO it is more logical that PSSD is in the spinal and or genital nerves, because THERE IS NO ONE AREA in the b...

Great job fema4psyciatrists! It is great that you are doing things in the real world to further awareness of our condition. I also applaud for being willing to reveal your identity, as many of us still embarrassed or too private to do so. If we want to create awareness, we have to stop hiding behind...

Could PSSD have causes outside of the brain?
I have had PSSD for four or five years now. In the beginning I was convinced that PSSD was a brain disorder of some sort; a hormonal imbalance, chemical imbalance, damage to neurons, or the serotonin system etc. When I read Healy's idea a couple years ago PSSD was likely a peripheral issue, or an is...

PSSD is like living in a 2-dimensional reality
I have had PSSD for four years now with no improvements. I know that PSSD and depression are two separate entities because I had both PSSD and depression in the beginning, and while I have climbed out of the gaping hole that is depression, my PSSD remains unchanged. I didn't develop PSSD until I was...

Re: Learning from the "bupropion effect"?
I have had PSSD for 4 years with no changes, and i've been on wellbutrin for three of those years. Wellbutrin has been a life saver for me in that it is the one thing that has helped my depression and anxiety, but it has not had a noticeable effect on my PSSD.

Re: Novelty about Ben-Sheetrit & Csoka study?
I filled out the paperwork and started the study but I have not heard anything about it in a long time, maybe six months.
