Re: Diindolylmethane (DIM)

What a coincidence...its your post..it seems to me that we have some autoimmune issues....i ve got little psoriaris :/ or something very similar, i haven't had single flu since pssd, and thin eyebrows. How would you describe you brain fog? Like you, I have a irritation in the scalp that comes and g...

Re: Diindolylmethane (DIM)

I'm the original poster. It was a little odd to read this thread as I had never seen it, here, before. I kept thinking, "this sounds really familiar..." I haven't taken DIM in a number of years. I'd consider trying it again. I've taken so many different things over the years. One thing I'l...

Re: 13-cis-Retinoic Acid (Accutane)

I took two courses of Accutane about 6 years before I ever took an SSRI. I never recognized any neurologic symptoms of Accutane. Obviously it dries you up because that's what it's designed to do. In general, it cleared up cystic acne I had for 6 to 8 months after I had ceased the final course of Acc...

Re: Edronax

I've always contended that one of the parts of my PSSD was an almost vanishing of the "fight or flight" response of the brain. Supposedly, Reboxetine is designed to treat this type of emotional concern via noradrenaline. After reading this, I noticed that Reboxetine is readily available fo...

Re: Does frequent Masturbation Help in fixing PSSD

I've found over the years that masturation increases my desire to have sex, but doesn't necessarily improve physical arousal. I can only guess that the positive brain chemicals released from orgasm/masturbation reinforce the desire to have sex. I have found that when I don't masturbate, there is not...

Re: Option of Involving Dr. Healy

Sending a hormone panel seems easy enough. I took a look around and didn't see specifics as far as what kind of tests you'd want. I have older hormone panels from the past as I've had PSSD for 10 years. I probably have at least 2 or 3. I was planning on getting a work up soon, too. I was considering...

Re: Tianeptine

I've had mixed reactions during different years taking tianeptine. When I first tried it for 6 months or so, it helped with erections, but not necessarily feeling or orgasm. A few years later, I'd say it caused a relapse of symptoms and deep depression that took months to resolve to where I felt lik...

100% normal while taking it?
Except for delayed ejaculation, yes.
And personally I didn't mind the delay at all.
I would say I was hypersexual before pssd struck so the change has taken a decade to start to accept.

Re: Did pssd happen gradually or rapidly for you

My pssd happened over night. One morning I woke up and my genitals were completely numb, ice cold and anesthetized feeling. It was about 2 weeks after cold turkey off 5htp I took for over 2 years. Did yours come on gradually or did it happen very fast? Pretty much identical for me with lexapro. I h...

Re: Seroxat for 1,5 Years

I have not been here for some time. Why? I don't know. I no longer needed to enter here, and not because i'm recovered or i'm fine. Something happened in my brain and needing to share information here or to talk, to research and confess disappeared. This happened when my anxiety returned in full fo...
