Re: Windows with SSRI

Try cyproheptadine. Perhaps your PSSD is due to chronically elevated serotonin. We know that SSRIs make serotonin initially fall and then increase, perhaps this explains these windows.

Re: Anyone manage to recover testosterone level after SSRI usage?

I'm pretty sure I was completely infertile. I didn't ovulate for about 3 years and at that time my PSSD was more severe than it is now. Clomiphene restored my fertility. It's a shame I didn't take hormone tests at the time.

Re: Question about lithium

Lithium carbonate has 10% lithium per capsule.
That is, 30mg of pure lithium in a 300mg capsule, 45mg of pure lithium in 450mg.

Re: My experience with low-dose lithium orotate and its cognitive and sexual improvements

There is only 0.6mg of elemental lithium in 15mg of lithium orotate.

If I were you, I would take a much larger dose. At least 2 capsules of 120mg of orotate. Each 120mg capsule has 5mg of elemental lithium.

Re: My experience with low-dose lithium orotate and its cognitive and sexual improvements

St. John's wort causes complete remission of my PSSD. But the active principle matters. I tested many brands that didn't work and the one that improves me contains 2% hyperforin and 0.3% hypericins.

Re: no improvement yet on lithium

The massage + lithium combination can certainly help. In my opinion, it should be tried every day for people with numbness. Touch is one of the things that can stimulate neuroplasticity, and lithium is known to stimulate neuroplasticity too. That said, I have my doubts as to whether improvement in ...

Re: TalkingAntColony summary/log

A positive update: Still healing from surgery but, my PSSD symptoms have improved in the last few weeks. I had sex a few times and it was great. I could perform well and enjoy it, although I still have numbness. My libido has been decent about half the time in the last 2 weeks. EQ is still good. Or...

Re: Spyros 100% cured by Estrogen + TRT

I'm not cured, but I improved the worst symptoms of PSSD by taking Clomid. I no longer have insomnia or that extreme tiredness that didn't allow me to get out of bed. Instead of total anorgasmia, I can have weak orgasms now. I'm going to flood my body with massive doses of HCG. 1000 IU 3 times a we...

Re: If you don’t have the courage to try something new, you’re probably going to have PSSD a lot longer

The problem is that people rarely have unitary depression This disease in the vast majority of cases is a comorbidity of a main mental or neurological illness. I have met many people in PSSD groups who take lithium, antipsychotics and anti-anxiety medications and will have to take them for the rest ...
