If your penis is "burning" that actually sounds like a straightforward peripheral neuropathy. A doctor should understand this. Maybe it would be good to keep taking NAC for the anti-inflammatory effect, as well as rounded multivitamins. Just for starters. Maybe a bit of Omega 3.

No, numb I mean numb, no or very little feeling.
It is a sensitive part, a main part of sensation, not the upper side or just to the sides. (Nor just glans.)
