This paper provides a method of determining 5HT1A receptor desensitization. Since rats showed desensitization 60 days post SSRI treatment, and rats only live about 900 days, this seems pretty significant. Is this condition partly/fully psychosomatic?

Some members have stated that things have started to get better when they stopped focusing on PSSD. Do you think acceptance and letting go of fear can cure the condition?
