Re: GABA A3/4/5, inflammation and mitochondria

benzos work directly on gaba and cause no sexual side effects i dont get it how this can be the case rly Biochemistry is complex. Why do some antidepressants that work on serotonin not cause PSSD? There's plenty of different actions/affinities for ligands on receptors. Just because sexual dysfuncti...

Re: 5-ht theory and steroidogenesis [Coraggio's corner]

Has anyone tried anything related to allopregnanolone? I know some PFS guys were helped by progesterone which metabolizes into allo. A guy from the RayPeatForum sells 5a-DHP which is a precursor to allo. If you have low 3a-HSD activity (which converts 5a-DHP to allo), supposedly you can increase 5a...

Re: Unexpected benifit of PSSD

No, not at all. I just believe that the emotional problem is the real problem and the sexual problem comes on top of it. I agree with this. Not blaming one or the other but personally think my cognitive issues will alleviate with the sexual sides and vice versa. What's interesting is a day after dr...

Re: Unexpected benifit of PSSD

Sad it doesn't get the same attention as sexual dysfunction. Even the supporters of PSSD, like Healy, completely ignore persistent emotional sides. Re: Possible Treatments List

Legitimacy is only going to come from authentic literature on pssd (I'm looking at Melcangi's soon to be published study on neurosteroids), not from how popular our forum is.

Re: Possible Treatments List

Guys I've been studying SEO for a long time now because I have several online businesses. My motivation for getting into business is I want to make it to the Forbes list and eventually fund research and discover the mechanisms for this. I think we can benefit greatly by creating SEO pages for sexua...

Congrats! I love seeing these posts, as I'm sure everyone else dose. This is great. At what time frame did the paroxetine get added and how much you taking?

Re: Pregnancy

Prozac is reducing the 20a-HSD enzym activity which synthesis 20a-dihydroprogesterone from progesterone on the human brain. And this enzyme is stimulated 24 hours prior to parturation. Problem might beceause of 20a-dhp and progesterone. Can you find which antidepressant did she used? https://en.m.w...

Re: Visual Imagination

I've noticed this as well. I lump it in with the lack of memory recall and overall brain fog. According to the article below it's related to dopamine.
