Re: Trazodone and chlorpromazine a proposal treatment for syndrome pfs and pssd. 2023
I preferred to remove the article after someone told me it had no scientific merit The measure of a journals quality and relevance is its impact factor, which is easily accessible through a simple google search. The article came from a journal with an impact factor > 8, which is respectable and sug...

Re: Partial recovery and experimental results
Even though I'm relatively insensitive to most drugs, coming off of them is a different story. I don't know if its rebound effects or just dependence. I tried tapering down on lexapro but only made it to 25mg before I had to resume my normal dose, my anxiety was so out of control. Similar story with...

Re: Partial recovery and experimental results
I had a high tolerance for drugs at baseline, PSSD has left me even more insensitive. I certainly self-monitored for serotonin syndrome but I never had any symptoms.

Re: Is ketamine or TMS safe?
Maybe some minor improvements in depressive symptoms, but no effect on PSSD.

Re: Is ketamine or TMS safe?
Anything serotonergic can cause serotonin syndrome. Just like depression isn't necessarily caused by low serotonin, its broad to say that any increase in serotonin will cause further PSSD symptoms. I did ketamine treatment and had no issues.

Re: New RxISK blog post: Remind Your Sister to get Vaccinated
This is a rambling article about vaccine conspiracies. It has no place in scientific discussion and has nothing to do with PSSD. Healy is a quack.

Re: Taking SSRI again for PSSD relief?
Its interesting that you mentioned you had improvements while tapering. I have observed this phenomenon myself and tested it many times, its definitely replicable. Certain drugs I've tried have either marginal benefits and sometimes bad side effects, but tapering off of them yields significant impro...

Re: Trazodone
Most of my profound gains were due to trazodone- increased sensitivity, reduced numbness, increased ejaculate volume, restoration of emotions, ability to feel love, etc. Its also quite risky, I would expect it can cause bad crashes as well. Not surprising because its highly selective for 5ht2a whic...
