Re: PFS or PSSD
It's rare for one pill of 5HTP to cause PSSD, if that is even possible. If you still have genital sensitivity and pleasurable orgasms, you are far ahead of most PSSD patients here. Having windows of recovery is a good sign. It often means you are on the path to recovery. Have you had your hormones c...

Re: Confused about my condition and why NAC made it worse
First of all, there is no evidence PSSD involves nerve damage. I also agree with the specialist that it's hard to tell what problem is causing what symptoms in your case. Not to downplay your symptoms but many of them could be psychological in origin. Taking NAC for 3 days probably isn't long enough...

Re: How to manage insulin resistance
if OGTT is better at detecting insulin resistance than HOMA IR? It's not that one is better per say, you really would want to do both for an accurate diagnosis. Again it's also important to see what your blood glucose is doing after meals, because it could be the case that your insulin resistance i...

How to manage insulin resistance
A common pattern I have seen in PSSD is low insulin sensitivity, also called insulin resistance or prediabetes. Insulin sensitivity refers to how your body clears blood sugar. If it is low, your blood sugar could get too high and cause problems over time. I myself suffered from it until I implemente...

Re: COVID Vaccine
I had the Moderna vaccine (both doses). I had mild arm soreness after the first dose, and mild fatigue for a day or two after the second dose. Otherwise it was fine.

Re: Potentially crashed from weed
I smoke weed occasionally (a few times per month) and typically notice a reduction in libido and sensitivity for a few days following. I don't think it's likely to cause permanent crashes with infrequent use. But stay on the safe side and abstain from all drugs for a while.

Re: This might be the key! Androgen function in the spotlight.
Guys stop the bickering, or I will lock this thread. Amisrableguy, stop making accusations against other members without evidence, and stop claiming something is "scientifically proven" without providing links to studies. This thread is for discussion on androgen function as it relates to ...

Survey for AI treatment analysis
There is a new website that is using AI/machine learning techniques to discover treatment options for various conditions. It requires lots of patient data to produce meaningful results. I think if we got a few hundred PSSD patients to input their data, it could provide insight on treatments. The sur...
