Is it though? All I can find is antagonism against several 5HT subtypes but no mention of 5HT1A agonism
There seems to be some interaction with 5ht1a receptors so I'd be cautious.

Re: I can probably help you improve your symptoms

I can’t remember for sure, but I’m almost positive I have. Of course you can try it without the naltrexone, but if it doesn’t give you significant improvements, you can always try the naltrexone. This is the only thing that worked for me in any permanent way, and it worked very quickly too. You cla...

Re: I can probably help you improve your symptoms

Op have you tried the hoppy beer without Naltrexone? I'm very skeptical that Naltrexone can help pssd from the research I've done. Alcohol on the other hand can possibly reverse some of the structural epigenetic changes caused by SSRIs.

"Individuals receiving citalopram only showed an increase in the expression of mir-16 while administration of sertraline led to a significant increase in the expression of mir-16 and a decrease in mir-124 and mir-132 (P<0.05)."

Re: Please AVOID doing weed/cannabis/THC

Weed will only make condition worse with chronic use because it increases serotonin and agonizes 5ht1a receptors. 5ht1a agonism along with elevated serotonin desensitizes receptors which causes pssd symptoms to worsen.

The up-regulation of miR-16 and the down-regulation of pre/pri–miR-16 triggered by fluoxetine in raphe were both eliminated by either Wnt3a, LiCl, or SB-216763

Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert

Here we see the chronic effects on the brain's serotonin system where the feedback 5-HT1A is internalized/desensitized and damaged by uncoupling from it's g-protein and losing part of it's function. But these recover after discontinuation, only the transporter SERT is actually degraded over time and...

Re: PSSD-SSRI-Depression-Anhedonia = my idea of cause and cure.

Any experiences with vitamin A besides op? I'm curious to try because I believe sert dysfunction causes pssd. I experienced worsening symptoms from taking inositol. "13-cis-Retinoic acid alters intracellular serotonin, increases 5-HT1A receptor, and serotonin reuptake transporter levels in vitr...
