Re: This might be the key! Androgen function in the spotlight.

Hi! The admins of propeciahelp have now published their thoughts on what we call the Post-Androgen Deprivation Syndrome. lw77 has mentioned the document before and it is highly relevant to the discussion here.

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?

Northern_Star, thank you so much for your wonderful website. I have taken the survey, and I donated something. Your website really is WOW! :-) And you have a crazy cool drive. :-) Thank you so much! We need more pssd participants. Absolutely. We are closing in on 200 Finasteride participants (curre...

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?

I hope everyone was able to enjoy the Christmas holiday season (at least in the Western hemisphere) despite this awful condition! A quick status update on our survey. So far 295 people have participated across all classes of substances, including 173 from the Finasteride community and 62 from the PS...

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?

Thank you, Jordan! We are getting closer to the moment where we want to approach scientists with several things and this includes the data from this survey. Early feedback from contacts has been VERY promising. It would fantastic if we could add even more data points. So, if you haven't taken the su...

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?

Gals and guys, before even starting with our outreach to the scientific community, we have already received some amazing feedback on the quality and results of our survey. To really drive this home, we need your help. If you haven''t participated in the survey yet, please do so as soon as you can. T...

Re: UK MEMBERS, DO YOUR PART, GET INVOLVED!!!

This is a good initiative. We need to make our voices heard. People need to know the dangers of these medications. People need to know we are there and suffering. If we don't create awareness, few people will care and few people will do something about it (research). So, everyone, make your voices h...

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?

10 more surveys since my last post, 5 of which were from PSSD patients. We now stand at 226 Surveys, 55 of which came from the PSSD side. We really have a good thing going here. We will have a lot of clear data based on validated questionnaires that will be hard to be ignored. Keep them coming!

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?

Thank you, Frog and Gameclay! I know the survey is comprehensive, that's because it is based on several scientifically validated questionnaires. Obviously, this increases the likelihood that the results will be taken seriously by scientists. The survey can be saved at every step of the way if people...

I am pleased to announce that we have now reached our first milestone for participation from the PSSD side (50 participants) and are on a good way to reach the second milestone for PFS (150 participants). A huge thank you to all participants and all the people who are bumping threads, spreading the ...

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?

I can only second afx' words. As of today, 207 people have completed our survey with some still in process. Of the 207 participants 49 are suffering from persistent side effects after antidepressants. Those are good numbers, but we want more. More data makes our suvey more powerful. We have set a mi...
