Re: Thoughts on 5HT1A antagonists?
5ht1a antagonists will probably not sensitize the receptor because there is a large concentration of serotonin in our synapses from sert down regulation. Antagonists will just increase 5ht firing, by blocking 5ht1a receptors, which will worsen symptoms. We need to focus on finding ways to upregulat...

Re: desensitization 5ht1a
My psychiatrist told me it’s good idea to take Vortioxetine but just only 5 mg. I crashed from Vortioxetine before. I don't think it's a good idea as it would downregulate 5HT1A receptors too much. Are you off of all drugs now? You might be interested in raising SERT and increasing 5HT1A autorecept...

Re: Ability to experience any pleasure / anhedonia / ejaculatory anhedonia / PSSD / Post-Antipsychotic / Post-Abilify
I know I have the same PSSD symptoms for sexual dysfunction as with someone who had taken an SSRI drug, but I had taken Abilify, an antipsychotic. (So I'm not even sure if I have classic PSSD, or simply enduring sexual dysfunction thanks to an antipsychotic drug). By definition, you are not sufferi...

Re: Success Stories (Official Thread)
I have experienced enormous improvements from the followiong stack (If i stop any of these, I experience relapse/crash). But as long as I take them I experience high libido, genital sensitivity, full orgasm, etc. Still some brain fog/depression/anxiety but its... manageable for the most part 50 mg b...

Re: CBG/Cannabigerol For PSSD Is HELPING me!!! (Huge potential)
I take trazodone and it has improved my PSSD symptoms. Pharmacologically it hypothetically should. It's a 5ht2a antagonist, 5ht1a agonist, and has some kind of activity at 5ht2c, likely a partial agonist of some kind. How can you blame another person for recommending a compound that doesn't work for...

Re: LITHIUM SUCCESS STORIES?!
Meso, if you were to add an antagonist to something like lithium that can cause downregulation eventually, would that do anything to combat these effects? I was thinking of trying CBG at some point. Sorry if thats a stupid question, I am kinda new to all this. CBG is an option for a 5HT1A antagonis...
