Re: Ashwagandha
I use Sodium Butyrate as an effective counter-measure to Ashwagandha. At times I wasn't sure which I prefer though, as the whole matter, especially Ashwagandha, is lacking some elucidation. Ashwagandha is often mentioned in contexts where it would seem contradictory, without further explanation, jus...

Re: Histamine's involvement in PSSD: research
This article seems to casually conclude one should raise histamine. However Citalopram actually raises histamine, which also increases receptors (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17409634), and as I mentioned elsewhere, one should then use antihistamines. I also react positively to "mast ste...

Re: Loratadine (+ Viagra) - "I discovered Something by accident" - Gonzo OP
Lots of Risperidone side effects are thought to be caused by H1 and H2 inverse-agonism, which would cause additional upregulation (wikipedia). Apparently agonism always does that for Histamine receptors. (Mentioned here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17409634 ) Therefore: Try H3 autoreceptor up...

Re: Pramipexol, SSRI, Magic Mushrooms
Praxmipexol is not the only thing that works. By serotonin 1A- and 2a-receptor mechanism, Berberine would seem to be the one which works the most. Plus a more individual mix addressing other areas (of hormones, glutamate, erection etc.). But it would probably interfere, whereas Pramipexole probably ...

Re: Gotu Kola (Centella Asiatica) and Bacopa on GluR1, 2 and NR2A, B
Okay, here is what happened. I think it still works. However at first I took some glutamate and calcium channel antagonists, simply to rest my system momentarily. But then I took one calcium antagonist too many, not knowing it was one (OPC from grape seeds). When I tried to recover from this in a sh...

Re: Opinions needed: Hypoechogenic substantia nigra
I have also had that experience with methyl donors like B12 Folate, Methionine and MSM (very popular here, by the way). However I personally had good reversals perhaps with the help of EGGC and other demethylation agents, Niacin, perhaps Curcumin and a few days' time. Or maybe it just didn't establi...

I corrected one part about the relevant glutamate transporter. Gotu Kola has potential cause it's used for memory, anxiety and skin issues. Maybe windows are really associated with reduced anxiety? However this herb is proposed as a contraceptive with lowered FSH. So please watch these parameters. D...

Gotu Kola (Centella Asiatica) and Bacopa on GluR1, 2 and NR2A, B
Taking Gotu Kola has always coincided for me with good to very good periods in libido and sensitivity. Penile numbness is speculated to be partly caused by a "decrease in NR2B subunits on dendrites" (mentioned here: pssdforum.com/search.php?keywords=nr2*&terms=all&author=≻=1&sf...

Re: Schisandra Chinesis
Schisandra seems to me one of the many simple things that are worth to try, with few side-effects. Here is one a good study on some of the things it does: Schisandrin enhances dendrite outgrowth and synaptogenesis in primary cultured hippocampal neurons. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21302324 ...
