Re: Diminishing tryptophan hydroxylase

Okay so looks like Fenclonine would do exactly that. I know someone here has had to have tried it by now. Unfortunately, this doesn’t necessarily mean it wouldn’t work because the way in which it is tried, for how long, etc. are also factors that we are just shooting in the dark on. Man, this is SUC...

Diminishing tryptophan hydroxylase

Tryptophan hydroxylase is the enzyme which catalyzes conversion of tryptophan to 5htp. Saw on Reddit that people are organizing a photo campaign and website under the name pssd network. If you’d like to contribute an anonymous picture with a short description of what pssd is for you- see the directions via the link here https://campaign.pssdnetwork.org/campaign/photo/

Agree!! The USA is the largest prescriber of antidepressants. It is also the country with perhaps the most dismissive attitude toward pssd. Imagine how many people return to their doctor with these symptoms, are consistently told it’s depression/anxiety and simply try other antidepressants. I imagin...

Re: Screening and treatment of Post-Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors sexual dysfunctions. 2022 (French authors)

I read it. It does not offer any new information or study. It does, however, close with an appeal towards more research and developing treatments. That things are being published about pssd at this rate is promising and hopeful. I emailed the contact authors for both this article and the one involvi...
