Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert

There are several different nitric oxide isoforms but not all of these isoforms might be bad for pssd. It appears though that too much neuronal nitric oxide or nNOS inhibits sert in the Dorsal Raphe. Increased nNOS may not be the cause of pssd, but we might get symptom relief at least, if nnos inhib...

Re: Serotonin Receptors

Have you tried bacopa? I heard it can upregulate sert I have but the problem is it also increases serotonin. For me anything that raises serotonin seems to make symptoms worse. There's also no studies I've found that show it upregulates sert in the Raphe specifically. It might be worth a try but be...

Re: Serotonin Receptors

You mentioned 5ht2B in your earlier comment did you mean 5ht2C? Also how does erectile dysfunction fit into this picture since it seems to be that 5ht2C activation promotes erection. 5ht1a receptors are also responsible for penile erections My only problem is erectile dysfunction which i got after ...

Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert

I haven't been able to find any other drug or supplement able to raise sert in the dorsal raphe, which this drug is reported to do. It seems to work in complete opposite of ssris. This is exciting. Wtf, can you guys read ? It's does the same thing as SSRI, DISRUPTING SERT- NNOS. Disrupting= downreg...

Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert

For anyone who believes pssd is caused by a loss of sert function, we might be getting some relief soon. Chinese researchers have developed an antidepressant compound called ZZL-7. It supposedly increases the serotonin transporter expression, which decreases serotonin in the dorsal raphe, through de...
