Anyone who have had children since PSSD?

Unread post by PLZNO »

If so, How is your semen volume and quality?
Almost everyone in this forum knows that PSSD may affected our semen quality and volume (mine got worse overtime.. I don't know why)

Point of my question : Does it have huge impact on our fertility? or minor? or none?

I've had two children since PSSD. My semen is ok.

Do either of you guys have anhedonia? If so (and apologies if this is a completely insensitive thing to ask) do you think there is any chance that we could pass on this aspect of our personality to our kids
PSSD Since March 2016 after 4 weeks on Sertraline
Conditioned worsened and peaked in April, since then possibly seen a 20% improvement
Would be useful for data collection if people could add their histories in their signature

It depends if it has caused epigenetic changes or not. My guess is that it could be passed on, but I doubt it is. I think that first of all mixing half the DNA with a new partner and then allowing hormones to normally guide development would remove most of the issues, if not all of them. My guess is that men would be less likely to pass it on becuase they don't have hormone levels that are impacted like a woman would with a pregnancy.

Hey Maldoror

I know that you also have watery, much less semen volume
That means, problems I mentioned above have nothing to do with our fertility?

I'll be testing my fertility tomorrow or next week
My seminal volume and consistency is pretty damn bad and gotten worse over time since PSSD
Anyone here tested fertility before? let us know what results you've got
I'm sure PSSD decreased my sperm count and affected my fertility..
interestingly, most of men and women with PSSD never had fertility issues.. right?
We'll see..
I'll update after job's done
