Benzos are well-known to be very addictive, that is not what I would call "safe".
Escitalopram, 10mg/day, Jan-May 2019. Fluoxetine, May-Sept 2019. Mirtazapine 7,5mg/day, November 2019-January 2020. Escitalopram, 5mg/day, Feb-May 2020.
Symptoms: sexual & emotional numbness

There are many ways for an antidepressant to be serotonergic (= affect serotonin signaling). Inhibiting serotonin reuptake is one of them. They conclude it is serotonergic, they don't conclude it inhibits serotonin reuptake.
Ive found a spanish study which says that this herb possibly "interacts directly with gaba inhibiting the release of serotonin" I really don't understand it pretty well. What's your opinion? does it sounds like an SSRI type of mechanism?
