Anyone ever recovered genital numbness alone?
Anyone ever recovered genital numbness alone?
Think I feel like 90% as good as I can in every way apart from genital numbness (which is currently like 10-20%) so frustrating to have almost no feeling! Does anyone know if this ever recovers with people in time? The genital numbness? So rubbish losing the best pleasure in life been over 2 years now since last pill. 5 years PSSD (didn’t know ssri was causing it the first 2 years)

Genital numbness has remained for me 5 years later. But I have improved many other aspects.

PSSD 3-2018, at28.
Effexor for 14 days total (PSSD on 3rd day).
Developed Ulcerative Colitis shortly thereafter.
PSSD start: intense tingling and penis went flaccid.
ED, numbness, little to no libido. Few weak morning woods.

Not completely yet, no.
Some people have claimed recovery and I've had days were it's almost normal but then i wake up numb. It's a painful situation for sure. God knows why we got to go through this specially after basically one pill.
My hypothesis is that those with long term depression are more bound to have it longer but who knows.
Also waiting to see if someone can honestly say it has reverted back.
