Can tramadol cause PSSD?
Re: Can tramadol cause PSSD?
I think it can last many years until any minor improvements will happen.

Re: Can tramadol cause PSSD?
Keep hope and no worry dude. Probably many people have had PSSD and they didn't even know because they recover naturally. Most of time, it take time to figure out what we have and this forum so it's normal that people here are more or less severe cases.
Do some sport, meditation, stress relief exercise and don't overthink. Keep us updated. If you need something you can send me message

No, it only gets worse with time.

Did the people who got it from SAMe, Maca and creatine take antidepressants before that in the past?Impermanence wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 2:41 am PSSD (or Persistant sexual disorder) is really weird because it can from many substance. Last time I wanted to try SAMe, I checked many things and I found a guy in reddit who got PSSD from it. As far as I know the only case. I also read a guy who got it from Maca (the only substance he took) and another one maybe from creatine. At the contrary of crash wich can have a part of only fluctuation or maybe also psychological part, people who didn't know about PSSD and who reported all the symptoms, it's hard to believe it's only psychological.
PSSD look very mystery disease. Probably something happen in the brain, the substance play a role I'm sure there is another mechanism. I'm working on it, but that's tricky.
So, even if someone claimed to be cured with Tramadol I think that's totally possible to get PSSD from tramadol as well...
Good luck my friend. I think we are kind of close of discovering something.
Me I got a crash, I think a real one, from Curcumin 3 weeks ago. I'm trialing something else, I'll let you know soon.

Why did you overdose tramadol?Janzio wrote: ↑Thu Sep 16, 2021 3:20 pm Has anyone ever heard of someone getting Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD) from using tramadol either for a long time or from one time or occasional use? I took a bunch of tramadol over the course of three days over three months ago and now I have had persistent symptoms of PSSD. I have low libido, slight genital numbness, reduced semen volume, weak erections, rare morning erections, and weaker orgasms.

I was partying. I had an opiate problem in the past and got a hold of tramadol and just took a bunch throughout the first day and tapered the next few days. I didn't know that tramadol is also an SNRI. Stupidest drug ever created if you ask me. They prescribe it because it is supposedly less addictive and dangerous than other opiates but that has been proven false time and time again. And why add SNRI properties of you want to make it non-addictive. The modern pharmaceutical industry makes no fucking sense sometimes.arahant wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 1:19 pmWhy did you overdose tramadol?Janzio wrote: ↑Thu Sep 16, 2021 3:20 pm Has anyone ever heard of someone getting Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD) from using tramadol either for a long time or from one time or occasional use? I see, maybe you could get a check up by an opioid specialist, even it has SNRI, it was undeniable that it was also a huge load of opioid, and opioid overdose is not fun at all, one day I saw a video with a story of a survivor that is basically a vegetable nowadays.Janzio wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 1:24 pmI was partying. Re: Can tramadol cause PSSD?
In opioid overdose you stop breathing partially or completely and that causes brain damage. I'm almost positive that isn't what happened because to have brain damage severe enough to cause these sexual issues would mean I would basically have to be a vegetable and I am not. I am just one of the incredibly unlucky human beings to abuse tramadol and get PSSD from it, even though I am sure so many have done it before me and gotten away with it.arahant wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 10:03 pmI see, maybe you could get a check up by an opioid specialist, even it has SNRI, it was undeniable that it was also a huge load of opioid, and opioid overdose is not fun at all, one day I saw a video with a story of a survivor that is basically a vegetable nowadays.Janzio wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 1:24 pmI was partying.
