Has anyone here considered a penile implant?
Has anyone here considered a penile implant?
Barring any catastrophic event, like a serious infection or a bad surgeon it seems to me better than a lifetime of ED or a lifetime of penile injections.

ED pills didn´t work for you at all? 5 mg of cialis daily seemed to do the trick, it´s a pain in the ass to take these daily but seemed to work
Re: Has anyone here considered a penile implant?
I wasn't saying I was considering one at the moment, I was just curious if any of you had. My eyes are all fucked up (x-linked retinoschisis, cataracts and high myopia) hence taking PDE5 inhibitors is not advised for me due to the risk of Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy.
Taking Cialis once a day doesn't seem much of an hassle, I wish I could resort to that instead of having to go the route of urethral and/or injected aprostadil, which is probably my next step.
For those that don't seem to be helped by PDE5 inhibitors nor aprostadil though, a penile implant should be considered, in my opinion.

Even when this wouldn't bring back desire, sensitivity, emotions and my cognitive functions, I have considered this since long ago... My only problem is that I will never have the money to do so.

Thing with those implants it´s that it seemed to shorten considerably the lenght of the penis, in some cases at least. But I also think that it´s a very reliable way of sorting this problems out. Another thing is that you can go back after an implant, so if, maybe, who knows, a cure for PSSD appears, it won´t serve you. But yes, it´s a permanent solution, at least it could last over 18 years.
Did you already suffered from some shrinking?

Yes, some shortening happens very often, around 1 inch I think.
I don't think I have shrinking. Of course my erect penis is not the same as it was before due to lack of blood flow and even in it's flaccid state, would you call that shrinking? With cialis + yohimbine it would probably go back to 100%, at least it did a few years ago, though at that time I didn't have soft glans. The onset of soft glans was gradual.

How would you define soft glans? I think I´m not understanding that
Re: Has anyone here considered a penile implant?
The glans not filling with blood as it did, hence not having a full erection as I did before taking SSRIs. Is there another definition?
