@ghost . Did you get some test for your pelvic? like some muscle tension measurements or did you just start with the therapy for the pelvic?
I am going to this therapist this week but i think they dont dont any ultrasound or some other measurements. they just do a physical exam and do thereapy.

I had a biofeedback test done. There really aren't a ton of measurements that you can do like you would with another ailment. Is the PT a male pelvis specialist? This is important. If they are, then they should be able to know if you have tension or not.

Just reading over your signature, I think that delayed ejac, lowered libido, ED, and numbness could all be from the pelvis. Prostatitis is often an incorrect diagnosis for pelvic muscle dysfunction. Refer to "A headache in the pelvis". It's linked on my site, and PM me if you want more info on it. I'm working on putting this all on my site, but it's a slow process.

I would like to get a good PT or someone similar with a lot of experience to write content for my site. But obviously that is hard to find.

thanks for the reply
yeah the therapist is trained in male Pelvic floor problems. I also think now that some of my problems might be coz of pelvic problems. I have a lot of tightness in my scrotum . a bit of burning sensation and dryish orgasm. My GP diagnosed me with prostatitis although I did not have any bacteria in my urine. Took antibiotics for 3 weeks .. it did not help. So possibly it was not prostatitis. Lets see if pelvic therapy relieve some of my symptoms. Wil also get a full hormonal test done soon to rule out other reasons.

Prostatitis is often a false diagnosis for pelvic floor dysfunction.

Yea look over the diagnostic protocol on my site. Those are the main hormones you want to get checked.

pubococcygeum muscle weakness

Unread post by angeloinvolo »

Is there anybody here that have the weakness of this pelvic muscle? This started for me after some weeks of PSSD. It causes sphynteric weakness. I think it could be caused by a hormons lack of balance, such as high progesterone.

Hey angeloinvolo, I merged your topic here, read this thread. I personally noticed that my stream of urine is very weak, I can't force it out and it stops and starts. That's indicative of a pelvic floor issue so I've been doing reverse kegels to try and remedy that.
PSSD Since March 2016 after 4 weeks on Sertraline
Conditioned worsened and peaked in April, since then possibly seen a 20% improvement
Would be useful for data collection if people could add their histories in their signature
