Hey folks,

Was looking into buspar and I found this thread. I don’t know if this is documented in the recovery stories section.

Buspirone is usually used as an add-on "antidote" to SSRI.

I had a similar experience, nice improvements, daily strong orgasms.
I took SSRI in the past because of the OCD/Sex obsession.

But today, I am not taking buspirone alongside an SSRI.

FYI. I’ve been on this combo for a couple of months. 30mg buspirone + 15mg Prozac in the morning, then another 15mg of buspirone at night.

Mentally I’m doing awesome. Lots of energy, feeling very sharp mentally, very clicked in. Music sounds better, more entertained in general.

Sexually my ED and PE are much better. Libido is a higher but not back to normal. Orgasm quality is maybe 50% better.

Hoping I keep improving over time.

Update - have jerked off every day for the past week and every time it’s been very enjoyable. Usually it’s mechanical and without pleasure or arousal. Very good week sexually.

Because you are still mixing/alternating it, it's hard to apply directly to the function or right use of Buspar alone.

About the same. Pretty good overall.
Haven’t used cialis in over a month which is nice.

Hopefully things improve more sexually over time. I feel maybe partially cured on this combo. Maybe I’ll add something else soon

I should state that other than the sexual aspects being only partially improved, my well being in other aspects is awesome.

I’ve been playing magic arena like 24/7 and having loads of fun. I stayed up until 4 or 5am multiple times this week because I was having such a good time. Also juggling work and babysitting pretty successfully.

Note for other members: I consider my pssd do be severe and this combo has really helped sexually. I think if your pssd is mild or moderate this could cure you.

I didn’t jerk off for a couple of days because I was busy, and then yesterday I let one out and it was excellent. A couple days off really boosted my libido and I got off to the first porn I watched. It’s a far cry from apathetically playing with a limp noodle and either giving up or going an hour until I can force one out to a totally unpleasurable finish.

Get over your fears people. Clinging on to the 5-10% you have left because you’re afraid of getting worse is not really logical.

Checking in.

Doing awesome.

Been stacking some Erwin naturals steel libido on top of the p+b and def at like 75% now.

Also taking some 5000IU vitamin D and a few mgs of Cal mag zinc every few days. Eating lots of banana avocado and drinking Gatorade 24/7. No exercise or dieting otherwise. Gaming a lot.

Life is really good overall

Thanks for update.

I have a question. Did you have emotional blunting too? For example not giving the same emotional response as before? Being unnaturally calm all the time? Feeling less anxious or sad than before?
