Re: Substances worth further exploring/researching
Ezogabine is another possible treatment. A recent study at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai shows that it's effective in treating depression and anhedonia. "Their study showed that ezogabine (also known as retigabine), a drug that opens KCNQ2/3 type of potassium channels in the brain, is associated with significant improvements in depressive symptoms and anhedonia in patients with depression." I read about KCNQ2/3 and I really hope that newer (safe) antidepressants are developed based on this mechanism. I wonder if Ezogabine is available as an RC.

Re: Substances worth further exploring/researching
Has anybody tried Chaihu-jia-Longgu-Muli or Yueju pill? Sounds promising for depression. I feel like I have to mention that they both have significant, perhaps strong CYP3a4 inhibition. At least in vitro. That means alot of drug interactions. I want to try it soon, I just have to change my regimen somewhat.

Added these 2 drugs to the list.Meso wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 5:50 am 16- Pitolisant: H3 receptor inverse agonist. This increases monoamine transmission by quite a bit.
17- Etifoxine: Multi-acting as a GABA-A positive allosteric modulator + increases natural production of neurosteroids + possible translocator protein (TSPO) agonist (helpful for chronic fatigue syndrome).

Re: Substances worth further exploring/researching
What about microdosing LSD/psilocybin? Maybe more for depression than PSSD. I’m thinking of combining the most active components of Chaihu-jia-Longgu-Muli (Bupleurum Chinense) and Yueju pill (gardenia jasminoides) with the semax I’m already using. Would that be overkill? And how could one combine that with microdosing psychedelics?Meso wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 12:57 amAdded these 2 drugs to the list.Meso wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 5:50 am 16- Pitolisant: H3 receptor inverse agonist. It would be okay, I reckon. But keep in mind that excessive BDNF can cause hair loss.bockemossen wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 11:28 pmWhat about microdosing LSD/psilocybin?
