Those who have a job
Those who have a job
How do you manage sleep. I can barely make 2-3 hours for sleep in most days and it makes me feel terrible. Anything reliably work for sleeping. I tried melatonin but it doesn’t work for me.

Maybe try some kratom or Tylenol pm.
Otherwise just knuckle drag your way through. I slept like shit for the first couple years of pssd but I sleep like a baby now.

I use Baclofen. It's a substitute because I'm alcoholic.
Baclofen makes you sleep within 2-5 minutes.
I use between 25-75 mg at night.
Beware: You should use raise your dosage slowly, else it might cause nausea during the first night.

Re: Those who have a job
Melatonin is a weak aid for sleep. You obviously need to sleep more, talk to a doctor, there are plenty of drugs for this. I bet they would give you hydroxyzine (or benzos if you suffer from anxiety - but don't take them too long...).
Escitalopram, 10mg/day, Jan-May 2019. Fluoxetine, May-Sept 2019. Mirtazapine 7,5mg/day, November 2019-January 2020. Escitalopram, 5mg/day, Feb-May 2020.

Half a pill of an extra strength over the counter sleeping pill works great for me
Re: Those who have a job
Melatonin is ineffective If you are having insomnia due to anxiety and intrusive thoughts before bed, as it's not an anxiolytic and its function is only "quick start" the sleep, not maintaining.
There's an entire podcast interviewing a sleep researcher that discusses dozens of strategies to adjust your sleep.

Re: Those who have a job
The only thing that helps me a little bit is zinc. Tried like 5 different supplements for sleep, melatonin, valerian, glycine, nothing works.
Re: Those who have a job
I just want to add that I tried gotu kola yesterday and slept like a baby. It seems to help with sexual symptoms as well.
Re: Those who have a job
Maybe having good and refreshing sleep also helps sexual symptoms.
