Sertraline reinstatement

Hello!

I suffer from PSSD since 2 years from Sertraline.
When I quit Sertraline, the first month was great: No ED anymore, no problems with achieving an orgasm. It was back to normal.

After 1 month, I noticed that I didn't watch porn anymore.
My libido was almost gone and I had genital numbness.

Over the next 2 years, I waited, but I didn't feel any improvement.

Then I used Inositol without any success.

A few months ago, I noticed that I sleep around 13 hours a day, feel anxious and that I feel depressed again.

I also wanted to find out what would happen if I used Sertraline again.
So I started Sertraline again.

However, it drove me totally crazy, I was really stressed, just too nervous, "over the top", aggressive, etc.
Also, I didn't feel any improvement on libido or ejaculation volume.

Even when I used only 15 mg of Sertraline, it drove me nuts.

I really wanted to try it for 1 month, but it just turns me mad, I could not do it.

So after 4 days, I stopped.

Update: Today, when I didn't take anything, masturbation was good.
I guess I will take a minimum dosage tomorrow and keep experimenting.
I'm writing a diary anyway in the form of an Excel table, and I will post the results here.

IMHO, writing an Excel table about one's masturbation is enough to kill one's libido...

I've been using it for 10 days now even though I thought I'd stop.

It has a really strong effect on me, and I like it.
I can handle it better now than on the first day.

I have to take only a minimal dose. But it was like that in the past as well:
5 mg make me feel like I'm on amphetamines: I am really nervous, active, but still kind of happy.
I don't have anxiety anymore, and I wake up not so desperate and pleasureless as during the last months.

So far, it did not have big effects on my sexuality yet. The volume of ejaculation is still the same.

When I stopped Sertralin for the first time, my sexuality was killed (my PSSD was limited to sexuality only), but psychologically, I felt great, calm and confident.
Around 1,5 year later however, anxiety started again: I slept 13 hours per day, woke up extremely tired and without any joy. It took a huge wonderful surprise to make me feel good.

That was the reason why I tried reinstatement: My current life only seemed like enduring, but not something that I would enjoy.
I was also hoping reinstatement of Sertralinet would fix my libido.

As I explained above, my libido still is not fixed, but my anxiety is gone again, and I feel like I'm legally high.

I did not find any real reinstatement postings, so I thought I would post mine.

I've been on sertraline for over 2 years now. No improvements, I've been slowly tapering off.

After doing a one-month reinstatement with sertraline up to 100mg I have had significant improvements, I am nowhere near pre-PSSD levels but I have regained some libido and can orgasm in a normal amount of time. I didn't improve until a week after completely stopping the medication so this period may be especially important, please keep us updated GIXXER.

It's good to see that others are trying this approach, I think it's one of the few treatments that can work, and yet it's the most neglected despite the fact that several people have had a positive outcome.

On a side note, I can assure Thomas that keeping an Excel spreadsheet does not significantly affect libido, at least if you do it with the right mindset.

So you have reinstated Sertraline for 1 month and then stopped it abruptly, and then it became better?
If yes, are you the one behind the article "Food for thought"? https://rxisk.org/sex-no-sex-sex-no-sex/
