I tapered off, it's not me in the article, but I agree that sudden discontinuation may not be a major factor in PSSD, I have met severe cases that had tapered for years.

Can you explain where you're at? What exactely gave you the improvement? And have you then discontinued, and then the improvement was gone? Please tell me more.

The improvement occurred within two weeks after stopping the medication and it has now persisted for almost a year. I think the important thing is to reach a medium-high dosage of the drug, people who try microdoses usually do not get any effect.

@alberecu
Which PSSD symptoms exactely did you experience?
And which of these are better now and to which degree?

Before reinstating I was suffering from anorgasmia, this problem is less pronounced now and my libido is extremely low instead of nonexistent. I still suffer from severe PSSD, with anesthesia, erectile dysfunction, sperm abnormalities, basically all sexual symptoms except extreme difficulty or inability to have orgasms, none of these symptoms changed in intensity with reinstatement.

I would like to give an update:

I'm still using Sertraline, my anxiety is greatly diminished, and I can work again. Before that, I slept way too much.

I feeling euphoric / maniac, and I think I have a bit more libido, and I think my orgasm is better (if I can achieve one... Sertraline makes it hard).
My genitals however feel more numb.

Taladafil has no more effect.
When I suffered from PSSD and did NOT take Sertraline, Taladafil worked great.

I would also like to state that my PSSD did NOT include emotional numbness or brain fog. It was / is only sexual (ED and libido and ejaculation volume).

Hello buddy,

Have you guys noticed any head pressure or some kind of tinnitus while on sertraline? Or even discontinuing?

How about penis size, did any of you notice changes on it?

I am thinking about trying it as well, as I had no pleasure, no orgasm, and I reckon that my PSSD is more related to dopamine than serotonin.

I think during PSSD without Sertraline my penis appeared smaller because of less blood flow.
But I can't really say, it's all still too early.
I will surely test 30 more days. I think then everything will become clearer.

A quick update:
I'm still using Sertraline.

My anxiety is gone.
Volume of ejaculation is the same.
Libido is the same.
Orgasm is better / exhausting. Before reinstatement, the orgasm was not exhausting and not really pleasureful.
Blood flow seems better. I have a warm feeling in the pelvis, then I think it's horniness, I start watching videos, my dick gets hard, butI have no interest in masturbating. Strange feeling.

ps: If I don't take Sertralin (I need to make drug-free weekends because otherwise I couldn't get an erection, even with Taladafil / Cialis), my mood drops heavily.

It's day 25 now, and unfortunately so far no change in libido.
Also, genital numbness is really strong since I use Sertraline again.

I was hoping I could restore how it was when I was on Sertraline, but unfortunately, so far no change.
However, I will keep taking it because it helps with my anxiety.
So at least I will be able to keep reporting, and if anything happens, I will report it here.
