PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy

This is for hypothesis and even educated speculation.

in a lawsuit, it would be a good idea to file a class action lawsuit, but many Pssd patients still show considerable passivity in their public action against the Pssd.

As I said, not all PSSD has to be the same. And not all sexual dysfunction during or after SSRIs have to be related to the SSRI.

My understanding is that for the majority of sufferers, their symptoms appeared or became much worse (or were a different set of sexual dysfunction symptoms) after discontinuation. Do you disagree with this?

The main task now is to attract as many people as possible who will do a biopsy. The larger the number, the easier it will be to draw some conclusions.

Hi, I had biopsy on my ankle twice. It was both times just below the lower limit (number of nerves if I'm correct). The doctor concluded that in SFN cases numbers are much lower than lower limit... not that I fully agree. So it was kind of inconclusive. I'm a severe case with almost all symptoms of pssd.

Why did u decide to do biopsy? Thought about sfn also?

Because I suspected SFN and wanted a diagnosis. It is not a new theory, David Healy worte about it years ago. That's when I went to do biopsy.

I would highly recommend not going to a neurologist with "Hey I took SSRIs and when I discontinued and got PSSD. You know about this right? This is real right? Can I get some skin biopsies?" Explain the full set of symptoms, focusing on the sensory ones, mention genital numbness, and kindly request the biopsies.

Sounds like you need a doctor more concerned with your well being. I wonder if he compared you to just an overall average that includes 55+ year olds, which is a mistake many unqualified doctors make. I want to show a graph of what the ranges look like but I don't know to insert an image. It sounds to me like you have your answer and should seek out specialists in this field.
