SSRI and SNRI leaflets being updated! But serious Omission of Pharmacovigilance by the Agencies

Unread post by anacleta »

The SSRI and SNRI leaflets are now being updated.

The trivialization of post-SSRI sexual dysfunction is evident because of the way it was carried on the leaflet without even being named:

"In some cases it was observed that symptoms of sexual dysfunction persisted following the discontinuation of treatment".

No reference to PSSD or permanent post-SSRI syndrome.

On this aspect, the media could hit: What is hidden behind the hasty sentence that has recently been added to the leaflets of all SSRI and SNRI antidepressants?

Then come our interviews, those of researchers, and insights into scientific literature.

And the extreme gravity of this permanent condition is discussed which can ruin the whole life and lead to suicide.

And the work of the Pharmacovigilance Agencies is criticized for failing to adequately inform doctors and patients about the seriousness of the condition, limiting themselves to an insignificant and trivial update of the information sheets.

Let's try to push now, each in our country, TV broadcasts and the most important scientific newspapers (medicine, health, science, consumers ..) to a publication of this type.

You can also try to write to your country's Pharmacovigilance Agency to highlight this inadequacy and the need for more activation by their side, even though it will most likely be useless. If they answer please let us know.

There is already a proper Paris Journalist that wants to make a PSSD Documentary but can’t if people do not come forward for her... the thread post is on here not enough people are responding to her.

If we let them kick us down... they will
