It will lead to more awareness, the goal is to get the post viral. Share it on reddit, twitter, fb, with your friends, etc... and make sure to "clap" if you have a medium account. This is part of some strategy im doing to raise awareness for PSSD.

You can submit your article to Medium Publications (like magazines for medium). https://medium.com/me/publications

That is how nearly all trending medium articles get trending I think (then editors picks get emailed out to all users). Maybe something like Invisible Illness publication might be a good one? https://medium.com/invisible-illness I seem to get articles from invisible illness and others sent through to my emails.

I created one called Mental Health Lived Experience but it is probably better to have it published on one bigger and better. https://medium.com/mental-health-lived-experience

It is probably best to try and submit it as quickly as possible so it doesn't lose the early boost abilities to trend.
