VirtualTeen's strange and conspicuous non-mention of PSSD

Unread post by WeAreTheDead »

In our mission to spread awareness of PSSD to potential victims and unknowing victims,
our top priority should be to inform people who are as young as possible- that is, children and adolescents,
before they are victimized.

The largest and most active internet forum for adolescents is virtualteen.org,
and it so happens that that forum also has a major focus on mental health problems.
So, naturally I assumed that that forum would have several separate mentions of PSSD,
like psychforums.com does, being as PSSD is one of the worst mental health problems
that a person can have, and is a major issue for adolescents, because up to one-third of
PSSD victims are victimized in their adolescence.
But I ran duckduckgo searches of virtualteen.org for the terms "PSSD" and "post-SSRI",
and surprisingly there was nothing, though there were 6 separate hits for "SSRI(s)".

So, I went to join the forum, but one of the forum registration pages stated that
only teenagers may join, and I am too old. But I'm sure that there are people
in the PSSD community who are young enough, and should therefore inform
the people on that forum. And then you can report back here, and tell us if any
deliberate suppression is going on.
SRIs are not "anti-depressants"; they are anti-sexualants.
