Dr Rhonda Patrick on Joe Rogan Podcast talking about SSRI damage

I was listening to the Joe Rogan podcast and he had on Dr Rhonda Patrick. The started to talk about Antidepressants how dangerous they are, and the sexual side effects some people experience. She mentioned that some people have a gene called polymorphism (sorry Im probably misspelling it) where they'll experience the sexual side effects even worse than people with out it.

If anyone wants to watch it on youtube it they start discussing it around the 1:02:50 mark. I strongly suggest listening to the whole segment about depression. Its very informative and great. I will also be emailing Dr Rhonda Patrick as well.

Not so sure about that polimorphism gene nonsene. I was on these drugs for ages before this ever happened. It can (and will) happen to anyone regardless of genes, it is not because I have a bad gene that's at fault, because it wasnt before. Nobody is immune if they have 'different genes'. I never had this before for years and years... doctors theories are full of c**P

How can you be so sure that everybody on SSRIs will be damaged by it? Everybody is different and has different respose to drugs. This kind of generalisation and ranting only hurts our cause.

because you take drugs every day and its going to change your brain. that's just a fact. Also I was on them a long time. People are going to carry round the idiotic belief that they probably have perfect genes that wouldn't be affected by a little pill, just like doctors other idiotic theories that psych drugs couldn't cause permanent damage you can't take that kind of clutching at straws bull seriously.

find me many people that have been on 'antidepressants' for over 20 years where it hasn't happened? the assumption is that you will take these poisons for life as if they are medication. I can't go along with the lies about it just because it 'might' continue to upset the lying psychiatry industry that we must all appease to not upset. Just because all the 'mental health' charities and movement is backed its all by the drug companies including the dodgy drug companies trials the whole way through. bribing drug regulators for ssri's in the first place that were rejected and ghostwriters. at what point do I stop going along with the lies to appease the disinformation followers of a murderous genocide industry that chemically castrated me?

Im sorry if im sounding harsh im not upset at you, but I can't go along with my human rights abuse liers movements lies just to appease the psychiatrists that done this to me.
