Premature Ejaculation / Please help

Unread post by Leb89 »

Hi all,

3 years ago I quit taking Citalopram (first 20 mg, then 10 mg) after 4 years of use. While been on it I basically had delayed orgasm and less libido, no impotence, but when I quit my function got back to normal after couple of days.

6 weeks ago, I took two doses of 10 mg Citalopram again and it completely smashed me. I quit the pills after those two doses and had impotence, complete loss of libido and difficulties to orgasm for 3 weeks. Then my feeling and ability to orgasm came back. But now I am hypersensitive in my genitals and I am close to orgasm after I get an erection very, very soon. Even when I am masturbating. My erection level is superhigh and it really bothers me a lot. Also my dick is not getting as hard as before, only when I am close to the fast peak as I mentioned.

I am close to kill myself, because I just can not live with this problem.

Has anyone else same experiences or can post links to similar problems?

I am thankful for every help.

Best,
Leb.

Welcome to the forum.
My first thoughts is that it has only been 6 weeks, so give your body some time to re-adjust, this could very well be temporarily.
I understand it can be rough, but hang in there.

And as strange as it may sound, try not to read too many posts on this forum in the next month. It will only make you stressed while it isnt even sure you have pssd.

Might I suggest trying Cialis? It fixes my erections and also makes me last significantly longer. Just a suggestion

Please do not kill yourself. The same thing happened to me on withdrawal, I ejaculated uncontrollably on the bus just doing my shopping. My body was taking time to adjust to serious changes. Also this was on the second time of taking/re-instating antidepressants. It has only been a few weeks it took me quite a while to go back to JUST PSSD erection problems on it's own and the premature ejaculation re-adjustment (PGAD) went away eventually over time.

It is now not a problem anymore, please don't kill yourself the same thing happened to me around that time. I couldn't get to a desktop to login i couldn't log in on my phone so I only just logged in now to respond, I wanted to before. How are you doing now? please answer.

Thanks

PS: I can have some kind of sex in the right circumstances now although it is affected and a woman would have to be okay which is not the worst possible scenario, I actually have a girlfriend.

Hi fema4psyciatrists,

thanks for your words and answer. It is really difficult to keep on track at the moment. The last 4 days I kind of had the feeling my body got more back to normal. The pramature ejaculation was more under control, almost close to normal and my erections got hard again. Yesterday and this morning it crashed again. I couldnt get one up, though I was all alone and that wears me down so, so much. I am just really scarred that those symptoms will not disappear. It is such a terrible experience!

I talk a lot about this with two good friends, my therapist and even my parents. But somehow I have the feeling people don´t really believe you. You know they think it is psychsomatic or shit like that, but we all know our body function before those fucked up shitty pills.

It is now exactly 6 weeks after I quit those little citalopram dose of only two pills. How can this fucking shit happen?!

I won´t kill myself the next month. But if these proplems get chronic I can guarantee for absolutely nothing.

How Long did it take you to recover from the premature ejaculation?

Best,
Leb.

It took about a year for those weird things to adjust back down. I remember the premature ejaculation and even some brain zaps still adjusting around a year down the line. Beyond that it stopped happening completely.

It probably is too early and adjusting with premature ejaculation reactions at the moment but when all that dies down using lots of lube or waiting for your partner to get more wet helps loads.

I had this too...when I had PSSD. Your histamine levels are probably fine given you have pre-E (premature ejaculation) but it couldn't hurt to get a Histamine blood test or saliva test.
Maybe a light PDE-5 inhibitor like Horny Goat Weed 20% might help? https://barlowesherbalelixirs.com/horny ... 20-icariin
They sometimes help and even Cialis with PRE-E. I would suggest staying away from serotonergic agents as they tend to make E.D (erectile dysfunction) WORSE. ...But, something like Dapoxetine (short-acting SSRI used to treat Premature Ejaculation (P.E) might help.
