In other words, the BIDMC scientists identified a molecular mechanism that can regulate mating behaviors across minutes and days. Histamine via H2 receptors actually is what causes mating though. The most significant pathway is always histamine. That's why low histamine people have low libido's despite high Dopamine.

And SSRI's raise whole brain cAMP; so that doesn't explain it...Histamine has got to do it itself the RIGHT WAY. It's Histamine's role to do it.
