Yes i can enjoy my favourite music and even feel excited all the time to watch my favourite movie. I can cry too. Emotion isn't a problem for me, my main problem is libido. That's what makes my condition even worse, I always feel guilty for trying that poison. I'm very much afraid to try low dose SSRI or SJW. As I don't have any problem with my emotions, erection, neither I have genital anaesthesia. I'm worried about my Libido, arousal and semen/sperm volume. I don't want to lose what I have still now.

There r 5 type of dopa receptors.
Yes!!! I can enjoy both. As I said earlier I have no problem regarding emotions. All I get depressed because my Libido is low. And sex is one of the most important thing for me.

Re: Eye Dischromy (altered color perception)

Unread post by Dryed »

Hello guys!
After paroxetine I've noticed a significant chromatic perception alteration from my left eye only,it's like percieve the world trough an yellow filter and sometimes this "filter" makes my vision more "greyish" .
Yesterday i met an ophthalmologist and after some retinal check he wasn't capable to find anything physical to adress this change in my chromatic perception but he believes is something related to an eye nerve inflammation...
And so he told me to find a good neurologist.. this is so distressing...anyone could relate?

full body numbness/worsening

Unread post by chemistry »

Some of my symptoms ie numbness have been worsening over the years and i dont know why. I also have numbness/lack of sensitivity on my skin all over my body and its gotten to a point now that its frightening like i feel disconnected with myself.

How could this be worsening is it neurological? Or is it possible that its spinal or something else?

I would appreciate any recommendations as to what to do about the worsening. Libido, atrophy and maybe anhedonia are worsening as well usually together in sync. Does this suggest dopamine?
Brief Symptoms:
PE - Anhedonia, less emotions - Test Atrophy - Numb body - Lowered libido = ED
24/7 tension, stress. Worse with lack of sleep, hungry, ill
"Pure-O"
Visual Snow Syndrome + DP/DR + Tinnitus
Insomnia, Fatigue

Thing is it feels a lot like genital numbness, except everywhere. Its not like proper numbness you know? When my body goes extra numb so does my dick etc.

I think i just need reassurance that its not a permanent nerve thing, and instead its a neurological thing that could be fixed with a little rewiring (thats how i like to look at this whole thing).

Actually these symptoms have gotten progressively worse since i cold turkeyed off sertraline years ago - i almost feel like reinstatement might stabilize me, but also i feel like its too late for that. thoughts?

Edit: Oh yes i do have visual problems - look up the condition "visual snow" and i have all the symptoms including afterimages, tinnitus, etc. This started at the end of my use of sertraline as well and gets worse over time. the problems i got from citalopram like PE, and soft glans has not worsened interestingly.
