I feel like his articles are becoming increasingly political. I wish he would focus more on the science... for our sake.

I was pretty unimpressed with Healy's research. This "article" puts him pretty firmly into quack territory.

does someone really imagine he is some research scientist to "solve pssd" ? He is a psychiatrist and has done some useful awareness for drug caused damages. But it seems in this community many people think "why does he not do research and solve this ". lol

Healy should learn some things and has a dual role of prescribing the things he warns about with the left hand. Among the psychiatrists he has at least been brave enough to question their shit and tell about what these drugs can do. Of course would be even a bit more convincing he would stop prescribing them himself .

As far as I know he can prescribe SSRIs or not, how do you know for sure that he prescribes them?

Can't believe this. What should we expect from other psychiatrists then?

Not sure why some people in the PSSD community dislike Healy hes done alot for us, and spreading awareness about the dangers of Antidepressants.

Healy holds some well paid senior roles, has couple of ventures and his week is not made up of just 40 working hours. It would be great if he could focus more on PSSD research, but it does consume time and finding funding for it is almost impossible. He can't just go into a lab and study PSSD.

Regarding prescribing SSRIs: Please remember, for some people these meds can be life saving. Let's leave weighing risks vs benefits up to Healy.
