Yesterday @Shadow mentioned that PSSD can be autoimmune disorder, after some reading it can be such a possibillity ( I don't say that it is high chance) but maybe worth deeper investigation.
Preliminary assumptions:
- Many substances works in pssd only for short time, auto immune disorders needs dynamic approach in treatment
- Autoimmune disorder can be a reason for sexual dysfunction
-Some PSSD suferrs have lupus-similar sympthoms
-Immune and dopamine
PSSD as autoimmune disorder

The Dopaminergic System in Autoimmune Diseases

"Thefact that the dopaminergic system of the mesencephalon is important in the control of movements, emotion, and motivated behavior, raises the issue of whether autoimmunity and inflammation are associated with midbrain degeneration, and whether anhedonic- and depressive-like behaviors may reflect an outcome of autoimmunity-induced damage on the mesolimbic dopaminergic system."

This is from article not study but similar thought was in study about Addison D.
The essential reason that low libido and autoimmune disease are related is that autoimmune diseases cause inflammation in the body. In order to combat the inflammation, the body releases more cortisol via the adrenal glands. However, the adrenal glands are also responsible for the production of other important hormones, including sex hormones. In the case of an autoimmune disease, the adrenal glands will produce a smaller quantity of sex hormones in order to effectively produce enough cortisol. This phenomenon is called the “pregnenolone steal” (as the adrenal glands use the hormone pregnenolone to produce other hormones). This reduction in sex hormones often leads to a reduction in libido.

There had been a single case report indicating that sertraline had caused a ‘discoid lupus like' skin eruption 20 but it can be fairly concluded from the above presentation that sertraline can induce a full-blown picture of SLE with multisystem involvement. The use of this drug in patients with pre existing Lupus needs to be further investigated

To our knowledge, the results of this study are the first to directly compare the immunomodulatory effects of the most commonly prescribed SSRI and SNRI antidepressants. From the results of this study, we observed four distinct phenomena of interest. Firstly, our results demonstrated that all SSRIs substantially attenuated LPS-induced TNF-a production, an effect that was observed at concentrations known to occur within the brain with
conventional pharmacological treatment. Secondly, we found evidence that longer durations of exposure (24 h) to low concentrations (<5 lM) of antidepressant created a situation in which the SSRIs were moderately pro-inflammatory. This finding is of interest as it unifies existing literature, demonstrating that under certain
conditions, antidepressants possess the capacity to exert both pro- and anti-inflammatory immunomodulatory properties.

I told you guys that you should test Lupus-associated antibodies, for instance anti-histone antibodies, but you all don't test it.. Only 3 users published their results and 2/3 had Lupus-associated antibodies.

Re: PSSD as autoimmune disorder
It is known that antidepressants such as SSRIs increase the expression of TNF-alpha and IL-1beta in the mouse brain. We do not know the exact concentration of these cytokines in the brain.
