Hi Blaine. What about your libido, genital anestesia...?
Are your problems just maintaining the erection or also getting an erection? Are these problems of erection with women, visual stimuli (porn), under all circumstances?
Did those erection problems start right after leaving the ssri?
Have you tried something like viagra, cialis ...?

no i havent tried anything yet. im not on any meds

just maintaining an erection, everything else is normal.

i watch porn and get aroused easily, my libido is fine, masturbation is very pleasurable so is the orgasm etc

i dont know if it started after stopping the SSRI all i know is the orgasm returned in 2 days

i just cant maintain an erection, its goes down very quick

side note: last year i took high dose prednisone for a health conditional, i got multiple hard erections every day automatically without any masturbation. how is this possible with PSSD?

We don't yet know what causes PSSD and why certain things have helped or temporarily reversed symptoms. One theory has to do with hormones which might explain why prednisone had an effect on you

i see, i thought it was a receptor issue? if we are left with a hormone problem shouldnt we got them checked by a professional and then seek treatment? i know im sounding too simplistic here. keep in mind prednisone for most people actually gives them impotence due to the cortisol. also pred antagonises GABA-A receptors, lots of people who are in withdrawal from benzo's lose sex drive/erections which is a problem at the GABA-A receptors. sorry im going off on something different here

The PFS people have a similar problem. Blood tests mig htr come back semi-normal but the CSF showed abnormalities in studies.

It's interesting you mention GABA receptors. I INITIALLY had a hunch that GABA-A agonists would relieve symptoms of PSSD

well pred is an antagonist of GABA-A so its a little confusing, but this is just something i found out through treatment of a health condition. PSSD seems very complex, ive read of many great recoveries, but it seems alot of us are stuck with this indefinitely. the thought of relying on viagra for the rest of my life scares me to death

It sounds like you have a milder form of pssd. Some here are hit with all the sides. I myself have forgot what it is to be horny.
