Re: Diarrhoea and serotonin

In the tryptophan depletion method studies they stimulate protein synthesis without adding in tryptophan. This depletes the precursor to serotonin. Thus, it would be helpful to add in BCAA to the tyrosine. Aspirin is also anti serotonin.

Thanks Juvo,

I've read that BCAA can block the conversion of L-Tyrosine to Dopamine. If this is the case is it worth taking both of these supplements or just chose one?

PSSD and Agression

Unread post by fasttrack1982 »

In addition to the loss of sexuality while experiencing PSSD, I also experience a disturbing in ability to experience/feel agression or rage. Does anyone else have reduced agressive response along with PSSD?

Yep, rage is one of the many emotions that's been very dulled in me. Have had a few times where I've felt very angry and frustrated, more than I would have if I didn't have PSSD.
PSSD Since March 2016 after 4 weeks on Sertraline
Conditioned worsened and peaked in April, since then possibly seen a 20% improvement
Would be useful for data collection if people could add their histories in their signature

I get more pissed off now but it's mostly when I think about my sexuality being taken away. It still really bothers me.

Just adding my 2 cents here.

I have had chronic diarrhoea for about 8 years which is when....surprise surprise...I got pssd. have been to drs a handful of times about the fact that I go 3-4 times a day and it's never solid, and after a load of tests he couldn't figure what was wrong and gave up puzzled. Only just made the pssd/serotonin connection.

Unsurprisingly this has made me feel all round bad, health wise, asides from the pssd.

Miguel did you have any luck with your supps?
